Default L-88 Headlamp Conversion

i first tried to search for what i'm looking for but i didn't find it, so i hope i don't bug anyone it this subject has been thrown around recently.

i'm converting my retractable headlights to a fixed system. i bought the innitial kit from guldstrand motorsports, they supplied the alluminum bucket and plexi covers and tha backing of the headlamp adjuster. at leat thats what i would call it. i have the buckets installed and know how to attach the backing plates or at least i think i do. any sugestions would be helpful. what i'm looking for is any idea what type of lamp bucket to use, lamp style etc.

for those of you who have made the conversion you may understand my pedicament.

It's a long shot but the '71, '72, and '73 Dodge Charger with the exposed headlights use the same size bucket as a Corvette, but it's designed to be mounted on a flat vertical surface. maybe find a set of used head light buckets on Ebay.

I used my stock lamp housings and bulbs and screwed them directly to the bucket with no adjustments, they aimed perfect for night driving.

nice job, i like how yours turned out.

this morning i tried taking appart the stock buckets and found that they do work.

i would just like to see as many final products as i can.

i like how tou rounded the corners on the plexi covers, or did they come that way?

I made by headlight buckets somewhat adjustable by using a 1/4" machine screw throuh the bucket then into a long hex nut then through the aluminum housing. That way I can add a washer or remove a washer to move the direction of the light, basic but effective.
The plexi covers come square, I cut mine down to make them a little more "tailored".
