Steering column splines

Doesn't look like you're getting a lot of response on this... but then I guess it's still early on this side of the puddle.
I have my ('81) column out of the car and at the locksmith (he had all the tools to tear down my column), but I should have it back tomorrow (Monday). I'll keep an eye on this thread and get you some numbers if I don't see any posted by then.
And to clarify, you want a spline count and the outside diameter of the steering wheel end of the column, correct?

My dial caliper says the OD of my Flaming River column's wheel side splines is 11/16, and I counted 36 splines. I have a Momo steering wheel adapter designed for the '76 column, and it looks like the adapter will fit on the FR column's splines, but the FR column has threads that prevent the adapter from reaching the splines. I don't have the original 76 column, so this is the best I can do. Hope this helps.
