Motor mounts
My left mount is bad. The motor lifts up and thuds back down if I gun it below roughly 20mph. I am somewhat confused though, as the ones I have appear to be the "safety" type, not the non safety type.
Do the "safety type still allow the engine to pull up 3/4 of an inch?? I can see a mark in the floor pan where the trans was hitting.
Should I stick with the safety or is the plain rubber OK from Advance Auto Parts. I have an estimated 250 hp right now and am planning no further mods till the engine dies.

do a search for motor mounts .some [myself also] like the poly ,some like the safety interlock,some like the solids .do the search at the top of the page lots of info for you to think about.
