I am going to buy a vette that may the fuel gauge, speedometer (odometer still works), and tachometer replaced. I'll have to look at them and see what's wrong.
I havn't done much electrical work on cars before. Need someone that can tell me a little about it. Difficult, easy, what? Also, is it expensive to replace these?
speedo might just be a broken cable. That would be an easy fix. Tach might just need a new circut board. Zip goes through how to replace that, along with the center gague cluster(might need a new board to fix fuel gauge).
The hardest part will be the speedo and tach, as you'll have to attempt the dreated drivers side dash drop  . Your looking at hours of fun if you take it out, But if you do it enough times, eventually, when you need to take it out, you'll be able to do it quickly, which could be a good thing... :D
