My goal is to build a matching numbers engine, 69 350/300, that runs on 91 octane, good idle and at least 350hp from it.

This is where I stand:

Block .040 over
Heads - Stock 3947041X with minor porting intake side, 64cc chambers
Cam - Crane hydraulic roller @.050
Lift Opens Closes Max Lift ADV Duration
Intake 0 BTDC 34 ABDC 107 214
Exhaust 48 BBDC (6) BTDC 117 222
Rockers - Crane roller rockers
Exhaust - Stock
Intake - Stock modified bt Brzezinski
Pistons - Spd Pro Hypereutectic +11.00cc
Crank - Stock
Rods - Stock
Carb - Stock Qjet
Distr- Stock
SCR - 9.462
DEC - 8.380 on Silvolite calculator

69 offered a stock 350/350
I would look at the specs and compare
with the 350/300 you have
you should easily get 350+ using modern parts
to improve the oem 350/350 setup

It is my understanding that the hp was derived from the high SCR. I want a pump gas friendly car so I figure the roller cam should be good for 35hp and the intake for 15hp, thus I am hoping to achieve the 350hp goal.

I am somewhat inexperienced in this field so I am asking for help.
