cleaaned my engine
2 cans of gunk, I'm gaining
upgraded 1979 has L82 intake and valve covers.

to me it looks like those valve covers are from a 84 to 87 vette.....anybody else think so.

I thought they were from a L82, what do i know, i like um, so that is all that matters.

They n=may be 84 but they are not 75 or up as they movews the bolts to down the center

Those are the 84-86/87 valve covers. In 1987 they went to centerbolt. Becareful with those covers, they are magnesium. Do not try to polish or wirebrush them as magnesium is a flamable metal when it gets hot enough. Some people found out when they tried to use a wire brush attached to a drill to strip the finish off :eek: :eek: :mad :eek: :eek:

It is strange how a clean engine can make a person feel good :yesnod:. And of course the car runs better ;). These are L-82 valve covers.
