Still having trouble with this transmisson and my speedometer. I got a 27 year from bowtie for a 200R4.(this is the 2nd try on getting a driven gear) Guess what? It won't go in the hole either. The driven gear on this transmission is clearly on the output shaft also. Is this thing a 200R4. It suppposedly came out of a Camaro. I hope someone can look at these pictures and tell me! My 350 is ready to pick up from the shop, but was hoping I could keep the OD. This things going to have to go if I can't the speedo working right. Please help! Either I don't have what I think, or Bowtie doesn't know its speedo gears!
This is the pan
This a view of where the speedo gear goes in the tailhousing.
This is just a shot laying on the floor of th side of the transmission.
Thanks! Then it probably not what I was told it was! What you think it may have come out of? Everything bolted right up! Glad I got my original rebuilt. Anybody else got any idea?

That is the standard THM 200.Not worth a crap.
The 200-4R has a bit more elongated pan.It also says Metric on it.I looked at a similar tranny that came from a Camero.I'm lucky I knew what the pan differences were.
