1977 Dash Pad replacement
I am trying to install a new dash pad without busting it up. I took out the old and in the process had a very hard time getting it out due to the windshield posts. Is there an easy and cost effective way to remove the windshield so I can install the new dash pad easier? If not, does anyone have any advice to install it without causing a bunch of damage. Thank you to all for your help and insight.

I'll assume you have removed the trim pieces on the posts so the only trick to getting the new one in is to make sure you warm it up first to increase pliability (Space heater, floor furnace,etc). Set one end push up in the middle and insert other end. VOILA!
