Default what cam do you recommend

I am in the process of building a '71 LT-1 engine. I am using the original block, heads, rods(pink),crank(forged),and aluminum intake manifold. I am upgrading the cam (hydraulic roller cam),valves, valve springs, pistons(slightly domed to gain just a bit of compression), and roller rockers. I have been looking at the comp extreme energy cam XE270HR. The car has a close ratio muncie, 3:70 gears, and side exhaust.
I am looking for a solid torque curve, horse power in the 375-385 range, some noticeable bumpity-bump at the exhaust, and considerable reliability for street use.
My friend just installed this same cam in a '73 vette and it sounds very mild. Any comments as to what cam I should be looking at.

with 370s and a 4 speed with factory heads that don't flow air
as well as modern heads you may want to go up to a 280
duration cam if you still want the car to have some good
midrange and upper end power, sounds like you would have
enough comp. to support a 280 duration cam if you have a
small dome piston with the 76cc 71 heads. A roller cam will
have a wider power band then a flat tappit cam, I think with
the 370 gearing you have, good comp, and wider power band
of the roller cam you would still have enough low end power
with the 280 duration have a strong midrange and upper end
power.
