Default Windshield wipers

Mine only work when they want to. This hardly ever coincides with when I actually need them to. I replaced the switch inside, but thats about it. Before I replaced the switch they didnt work at all. Any ideas?

Make sure that you have a good ground to the switch, it grounds through the carrier (gauge console) but this is not the best so I would suggest running a seperate ground wire from the switch body to a known good grounding point.

Also make sure that the switch is plugged in correctly, it is easy to plug it in upside down causing a host of odd operation issues.
Good luck

I agree, Once I re-did the ground on mine I have not had any more problems with them.

Check ALL of the grounds - I've had intermittants both at the motor and at the switch inside.
