Binding in rear

No howling, but I do notice a clunk or slight knock coming from the left rear when I make a sharp left turn, then back up, like I do when I back the car in to the driveway. It seems something is shifting a bit, I don't think it is the brakes, it seems more axle shaft related. The C clip has been checked, as the have the yoke, shims, half shafts, etc...
