Default Door panel removal?

Hey guys, last night I put my vette on jackstands and removed all of the tires and I'm getting ready to go over the car top to bottom.

I have parts and will start on the Tach cable change, the pinion snubber, and some other items. Im changing the stereo out, the dome light doesn't work, he changed the bulb so its probably a wire issue. Fix the antifreeze leak at the thermo stat housing. Also the front sway bar end links while Im at it, the rubber looks worn to me.

The brakes feel spongey, and yes they are manual brakes but the pedal goes pretty far to the floor, unless you pump them. When the car was delivered the master cyl. cap was on but not snapped, and when I looked in there the fluid level was low, but not to where it APPEARED air was able to get in. There doesn't seem to be any leaks from what I've noticed at the brakes. I've only given it a quick look since I removed the tires however. Im hoping it only needs to be bled.

You get the point but I do have a question before I started to babble about everything other than why I started this thread. I am also going to try and make the outside door handles more easy to use for the females in my family. So I am going to remove the door panels.

I am heading out the door for some errands, (ok, some more tattoo work), and I do not have my shop manual yet, but are there any tips on removing the panels?

I went out real quick and removed three screws but it looks like the inside door handle has to be removed and there is a screw for that but the window handle and the manual door lock **** look like they have to come off? Just trying to make it easier for when I come back so I can get those bad boys removed without a hitch.

Thanks fellas,

Yep, these panels are pretty straightforward. Be warned, though, that the "while I'm at it" monster is in there. I can almost guarantee that you will find a couple other projects to do while you have those panels off.

Yep, the little clip that is still used today holds these handles on. If you don't have a tool any parts store carries them.
