Default Looking for Recomendations for Removing Paint

I need to remove the paint from my 81 vette. Somebody did a horrible job and I am hoping to have it repainted by spring. There are so many paint removal products available that it is hard to determine which is best.

If anybody has experience removing paint, your recomendations are very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill

Default Cap'n Lee's

Cap'n Lee's fiberglass stripper. Works great, paint literally 'jumps' off the car! Did mine with about two gallons. Had at least four coats of paint and three coats of clear.

Default Media blast!

Media blasting is the way to go. Drop it off one day, pick it up the next day with new paint remover residue.

The blaster tapes the joints to prevent pitting at the edges. I used a random orbital sander to remove the paint where the tape was.

The Best way is to get your car "tapped" from behind by an attractive young lady! Let the professionals handle the rest.
