Default Steering issues....

I'm having a problem where the ol' vette steers more quickly to the left side. When turning to the right it feels fine but when I want to veer or turn left, it doesn't take as much effort to get it to turn. I've had the alignment done and it seems to be ok. The front suspension, bearings, etc was done just a few years ago. Any ideas on what may be causing this or how to fix it?

Sounds to me like your control valve needs balancing. The Chevrolet shop manual has a good explanation as to how to balance the valve. I have it scanned and can eMail it to you if you need it.

Hi Todd
I agree, it's probably the balance in the control valve. To check this just put the front end on jack stands and start the engine. If the steering immediately goes to the left then it's the control valve. It's a simple process to adjust and shouldn't take more than a half hour. :seeya
