Default heater hose

Thanks to D-boy I am posting this picture for help. Does my 68' heater core get attached to A) and D) or B) and C)? There was a small bypass hose attaching B) and C) but I removed them to attach to heater core....was I right or wrong?

I am no 68 expert, but I will try to help. On the big block motor the Bypass hose from B to C stays. The 5/8" hose goes to the A, and the 3/4" hose goes to D. Make sure your hoses have factory 90* ends on one end where they connect to the heater core.

B and C should connect.

Heater core to A and D.

A should be heater in line and D the out line.

Your heater probably isn't working until the engine warms up!

Default Thanks

My heater core has the larger line on top and the smaller on the bottom. I guess large being into from the intake and smaller out of...going back to the water pump...great!

The smaller fitting/ hose goes to the intake 5/8"
This is the supply

The larger fitting/ hose goes to the pump 3/4"
This is the return.
