I've been told that some of the C3's are different. I think if you follow the brake lines to the combination valve, you can tell which is for the front and which is for the rear.

If you are asking about your 78', the rear chamber is the rear brakes. Also, for cars that have disc front and drum rear, "usually" the largest resovoir is for the front (disc) brakes which is how your Camaro probably is.

If you are still unsure, open one of the bleeder valves on a front caliper, let it gravity bleed off, and them look at which reservoir in the m/c the fluid level is dropping.
