Default Rear deck swap

I appologize if I'm not suppose to post the same question in the General and Tech forums, but I'm kinda really interested in in this possible mod:

I'm seriously thinking about putting a 1975 - 1977 rear coupe deck on my 1981...

Will the deck physically fit and line up with the other rear panels?
Is the gas tank just in the incorrect location, or is it also too tall?
If the tank is too tall, can I lower it by modifying the support cross-member, or do I have to swap it out as well?

Thanks,

Thanks for the input. It was Mid America, but they said that it's a C4 product only.

Fit the old style and move the gas door back further. Just a little glass work.
