81 performance help
I have stock 350 in my 81 that has 80,000 miles. While it’s healthy, I rather disappointed in its performance.
I’m really not up to do an engine swap and I’m not looking to do any racing just improving what I have.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

With Ca. emissions, there is not much room. K&N Air cleaner, new free flow cat, flowmaster mufflers, maybe a CARB. approved intake manifold. Changing rear gears and/or OD Tranny is about it. Some cams and heads are Carb approved, but you still have to pass the poop shoot test.
