Just moved back to Michigan and need some input. I live in Howell Michigan and I'm looking for a qualified establishment (C3 windshield repair) to fix my leaky windshield or replace it. I usually do all of the mechanical work on my car but I'm not interested in doing this. 78 PaceCar.
Second question. I've read quite a bit on forum of people trying to put the Holly Stealth Ram under a stock hood. Some say it will fit others say no. Does anyone have it installed under a stock L48 hood, pictures if available.
There is a place on Dort highway in Fenton or Grand Blanc can't think of the name. Been awhile since I have been up that way. I have the holley Stealth Mini Ram Have not got to it yet. I think my aftermarket L88 hood will have the clearence. Slim to none with the stock hood
Thanks for the info. I know I've seen Dort road before - Will do some searching on MSN.
I have an email in at Holley asking for a detailed drawing of the Stealth Ram. I've read so many conflicting threads as to whether it will fit or not. Doesn't look like it would be too hard to build a modified plenum that is just a touch shorter. Please give me a yell when you have your's installed.
Hey - I stayed in Piscataway for almost a year while I was doing a consulting job at Ethicon in Somerville. Would fly back home to FL thru Newark airport. What a hassel that was.. only one flight on time in a year.
Got some possibly bad news for you. The windshield is probably mot leaking since its solid glass. The leak is most likely around and thru the WS frame. Do an advanced search for wind shield frame repair (or rot) and you will see some scary stuff. Its a pretty big job fixing it, but not impossible. Take a look
The top frame had no rust when the glass repair person had it apart. Couldn't see the side rails - no water in the floor - just drips down in driver and passenger laps.
Hope you're right. I put new leather and carpet in the car in 2004 and certainly don't want it ruined. It will be nice when I don't have to carry emergency towels when I go for a drive.
