When and if you drop the tank, and check to make sure the bladder is still in place and that it hasn't sagged. Corrosion can set in and rust flakes can start accumulating on the sock.
So - the tank has a bladder? What happens? Does the bladder become detached from the top of the tank?
Basically yes. More than likely it's still in place. It's just something to be aware of and to check when you pull the tank down to clean or replace the sock.
