As of late, I've noticed an odd occurance, seems that the engine likes to rev up a bit, about 200 rpm or so when making a hard right turn, not on lefts, just rights.
I have a relatively stock 350 with the Edelbrock 1406 carb which is fed on the right side. Could this surge in fuel be caused by the right side carb float? or simply tipping in more fuel due to the force and angle of the turn?
Any ideas, I had not noticed the problem before, but then again the carb was out of whack and I've been playing with rods and springs to dial it in. Now she runs better but has this issue.

Thanks to all for their tips.
Sure enough on closer inspection of the motor mounts, the right side mount is split. One of those little things that gets missed. Just curious as how this affects the engine, is it literally loose enough to tip the engine/carb and introduce more fuel?

Its like someone said above, the motor is moving when you turn right and pulling on the cable just enough to rev the motor. New motor mounts will fix it right up.

Good call guys. I was thinking transmission fluid the whole way until he said he had a Manual. I've never even heard of the motor mount causing the rev. It makes sense though if it is pulling the throttle.
