I just had my zz 383 crate engine installed, and it looks great!
Where do I find the right cable for the cruise control? I went from a Crossfire to a carburetor and the old cable will not work.
Any ideas from people that have done this conversion?

Nice job on the engine, Beutious!!
I will continue to watch this, as I have the same problem, my cruise has been disconnected at the carb for 2 years now. Hopefully someone will chime in.
I just drilled a hole below the throttle linkage and bolted my original Quadjet cruise stud in. I am using part of the original bracket from the Quadjet carb as well so that I could use my original accelerator and cruise control cables.
Why not install a diaphram servo from a 77-81 that mounts to the rear of drivers head. All you need is the bracket, diaphram and the rod to connect to carb.

I'm installing an Edlebrock intake, and quickfuel 750 carb, is that big vacuum diaphram thing connected to the throttle linkage necessary?
