Default Sleepy Eyebrow Question?

My drivers side headlight has always come up slowly, but lately it stays up half the time when I turn the lights off! Tell me what to check first, the actuator was replaced about two years ago. If I restart the car and turn it off then generally the headlamp door will go back down. let me what you think about it. Thanks!

Low vacuum is the cause now to find the leak! Check the check valve near the manifold and filter ,Also could be a bad relay its between the headlights, sugest that you test these, most lkly its the check valve

There are two relays in between the headlights just in front of the hood seam. switch the vacuum lines and see if the other light is slow or the same light is slow. IF the other light is slow then the relay valve is bad. if the same light is slow then the seal on the light actuator is bad. (assuming that you have already cecked the obvious things like slpit vacuum lines and loose fitting connections) I do not think the check valve will cause a slow light. When the check valve is bad the lights will start to open(and then close) when you shut the engine off and sometime also when you start the engine.
