Default 350 Rocker Arm Adjustment

This is a minor point, but I just put some Crane 1.52 magnum roller rockers on my engine. One of my books says one full turn (Factory) after the pushrod meets resistance and the other 3/4 turn (Haynes). Which is recommended or is there enough give in the hydraulic lifter design that it doesn't make any difference?

According to Lars' paper the full turn factory spec. is the equivalent of a built in rev limiter. He suggests 1/2 turn for a performance application.

I will tell ya i was always a little gunshy about going down a full turn on the valves . I always went from zero lash , and took them down 1 qtr. turn .
