Hey Cherrybomb..... I did not see your Q until tonight.... No - Mine has no indentations to 'wrap' around the springs a bit... that is agood idea.

I'll try to post a pic tonight but the original has these indents "if you will", but the aftermarkets are just flat. Flat is probably ok, but the spring your trying to retain is never actually flat at that spot. I get a lil **** on these things, but when the tabs keep bending up like they have, I get a little nervous that something aint right.
