BB valve covers questions (2nd try)
Lets try this again with pics this time
I bought these today and there is some brackets on them I do not know what they are for. The bottom cover, brackets on the right.
Is this sticker upside down?
They are in good shape, no dents or dings. Where can I get grommets and a oil cap?
Thanks, Dave

the vertical bracket is for a plastic wire loom that seperates the plug wires

Yes, correct location but just upside down and that is the passenger side cover.

I'd try Paregon for grommets.

Paragon is only 1-1/2hrs from my house, sounds like a road trip. I checked out your web page

Somebody might want to check me on this, but the sticker was only used through very early '71 BB Valve covers.
The BB '70 valve covers were chrome and had the sticker.
The BB'71 valve covers were painted orange with only the early cars getting the sticker.

You can get the gromets at most any auto parts store. Standard Chevy part. Probably 1/3 the price of a catalog store.
