Default Header/Sidepipe Suggestions

First a little background which is either entertaining or distressing! I started out just needed to replace valve stem seals for two cylinders.

Of course, I might as well pull the heads since the car came with no documentation about the engine and this would be an opportunity to measure the cylinder bore to see if any work had been done and replace the head gaskets as a preventative move.

Well, as long as the heads were off, I should just replace them with aluminum and if I was going to replace the heads this is a good time to go with a new intake manifold. I've decided on an Edelbrock top-end package and that comes with a cam so I need to pull the water pump, so I removed the radiator. Jeez, I hate that shroud! So, Dewitt's aluminim radiator and electric fan is logical, right?

It just makes sense that if I'm going to all this trouble it would be short sighted not to add headers and sidepipes, too!

That gets me to my question. I'd like sidepipes that can accept a cover to prevent leg burning and it appears that Patriot might be the way to go. Are there Hooker headers that will work with these? Are there covers that will work with the Hooker sidepipes? Or, what headers will work with the Patriots. What other combinations would you suggest?

Those covers are awesome!
Hookers are the only sidepipes IMO.

I know! I've seen the pics but didn't know that he was actually selling them. Guess I should have done a little research before trolling for free info. Thanks for the tip. I just found his website. This is great - it's going to be Hookers!

I have to say, those are cool and probably the first time I fry my leg on my soon-to-be on sidepipes, I will be looking into them.
