TH400 manual kickdown switch
when i exit a tight corner i know i will be flooring it, but the trans is blissfully unaware of my intentions. So it would upshift just at the wrong time.
So i added a momentary closed lever switch mounted on the side of the E-brake cover, an inch forward of the PW switches. It energizes the solenoid when i touch it as i exit the corner. The trans stays in 1st as i floor it, rather than downshift AFTER i have floored it.
