Default Message For Monty

Hey Monty! :D
I noticed you live in Park Ridge  I am up near Gurnee, and am new to the Forum. I just recently bought a '77 and am looking for a good tune-up and suspension mechanic around the area. I did all the tune parts myself, but can't seem to get her to run just right. Painter pretty soon too. Any sugestions? Hope to hear from you soon

Default Re: Message For Monty (Silvr77)

I am up in that area sometimes, my wife is into horses and she competes in Dressage competitions up in that area and southern Wisconsin.

If you're interested in doing the work yourself, or learning how to do it, I'd be glad to come up and give you a hand with the suspension and stuff. I must admit I'm not too good with tuning carbs, since I have been running EFI for several years.

I really can't offer you much in the way of recommending a mechanic, cause I always do my own work. For paint, there's a good guy in Skokie - Sigler's (847) 933-9300. D&M Corvette down in Downer's Grove does good work, and they do excellent pain, but they are not cheap. I don't know alot about Corvette City in Highland Park. I've been there once, and they seemed very expensive.
