Sticking Throttle
I did some checking and it seems to be coming from the point where the throttle cable comes thru the firewall.
Using a mirror, the throttle cable is attached to the pedal in such a manor that the pedal actually pulls the cable at an upward angle. This upward angle has worn a groove in the firewall ferrule.
I know this is the second throttle cable that has been in the car, is this a common problem? Do I want to put a hard busing into the cable where the cable rubs on it?
Can you still get a cable from the dealer or do I need to contact one of the Corvette suppliers?
Just curious as to what the collective experience has been.
