I just bought a 1980 T top and am trying to find out where to get a Helms manual that most of you suggest. also the ac is innoperative and need suggestions of what to do. Rebuild r12? replace with r134?
(AZ is a bit hot) Last serious wrenching was in ' 71 on a '57 alfa and most of my V8 time has been on keeping the band truck just RUNNING.
This pretty girl has only a bit over 10K. It was a screaming deal from a friend of serious integrity. Long story on the cheap price. I bought a muskegon brake kit. I'm still awaiting sweetees garage sale so there's garage space. Friend is still being swell and keeping it in his garage.
Any thoughts appreciated. The first vette I've ever even sat in. Cat said it would change my life and it has... Now read corvette catalogs rather than fly fishing literature. Trying to get up to 40mph on this.
