Expansion Tank
What would be the down side in not having the correct expansion tank in my 68' 427? My AIM and other manuals show two different ways of running the heater hose from the heater core. One has a line "T" at the expansion tank thus running into the bottom of the tank. The other doesn't connect to the expansion tank at all.
Not sure what to do.

The differences are based on your options. Your AIM has an RPO associated with the various heater hose/overflow tank options. What RPO's does your car have? If you are keeping your car NCRS correct, you have to base the configuration on the options you have. If you don't care, then use the KISS method (Keep it simple st*p*d).
