71 auto tp manual
I have a 71 vette that is an automatic and I would like to make a manual car. All I have is a sand blasted frame waiting for paint but am being held up because I dont know where to weld on clutch cross shaft bracket on frame. I hope someone can tell me exactly where to weld it. Thanks

I took a measurement for ya,10 inches from the rear edge of the motor mount at the frame rail,to the pivot point of the bracket.The back of the bracket is almost flush with the inner side of the frame.Hope that helps,because of the way this frame is stored,I can't get a photo for you.
