power steering hoses from control valve

Does it makes a difference which hose you connect from the control valve to the arm. their positions can be crossed???

Yes, it will make a major difference. Hopefully you can look at everything BEFORE you remove the hoses. If reversed, the steering will buck violently. After installation, do not have your arm through the steering wheel the first time you start the engine, and be ready to turn it off if the steering wheel jerks. I've seen it happen. Pretty scary. Get an install photo, the hoses are very specifically mounted, not just to turn the wheel but to keep from rubbing. George

top of the c.v to bottom of the cylinder. bottom of c.v to top of cylinder

Thanks , I took them off to put on new ones and didn't draw a picture, rebuilt the valve while I was at it, so far everything is good.
