It's time to drill and mount the front (round) emblem but there are no specs in AM and the repro top panel has no indents on the rear surface.
If anyone with a car with the original top panel (or GM replacement) can send a measurment from the hood gap down to the emblem (or center of emblem) it would be appreciated.
That would be a big help. A dimension from either the bumper seam or the hood gap would be great. The emblem has been off for over 10 years, I guess that's enough procrastination even for me.
BTW, I'm on my 3rd emblem, seems the red center comes off in traveling....a new one from Zip is on it's way again... ..anyone else have this problem...

That is because your car is so fast it blows the emblem right off!

no, but i did loose the back gas door crossed flags one once, are you doing more than 145? reason i ask is thats all i have had the nerve for and mine is still on!this way if the nose emblem flys off at 165 ill try to keep it at 163.5,before the t tops fly off like a jet fighter ejection seat, and the frt end lifts like the same fighter(i wonder if the after market suppliers will ever sell grd effects like wings so we can really take off)
