Moving temp sending unit?
On my old manifold, the sending unit is mounted on it's front.
When changing manifold the sending unit will now collide with the waterneck and hose.
Can I move the sending unit to the hole that are under the exhaust ports 1-3 ?
Or is it to near the headers and to hot to have it there?

Be prepared for it to read hotter if you move it to the head port, it will he hotter there than the manifold port. That said, on my 81 the temp gauge is on the drivers head and the Aux fan is on the pass head, so no it won't be a problem to move it
