Default Compression Ratio after Head Swap?

I have a stock 77 Vette can some one tell me if I go with a small combustion Chamber head what will be the compression ratio after head swap?
58CC
64CC
67CC
Also are the pistons in the stock 77 flat top? Wondering about clearence problems.
Thanks

  • If L48 it has DISH pistons ... Aluminum 58cc are your best choice & make about 10:1scr.
  • If L82 it has FLATTOP pistons ... 64/67cc are best choice & make about 10:1 / 9.8:1.
  • Neither dish nor flat pose any clearance problem w/ heads.
  • If you raise compression on L48 as above, you should also install more cam ... L82 cam will do but could use more cam too.
Fill out your CF profile & specify L48/L82 ... and include that info in future threads such as this one.

I'm thinking about a head, intake, carb and maybe cam change. But it is getting somewhere around half or better than a GM 350/355 crate. My engine is a # matching.
