My first race ever, (video)
This was the first time ever on the racetrack.
It's from last summer, with my 327 cui.
As you can see the my traction was really bad.
Best ET was 14.00
I really have to scrap my old Nitto tires from mid ninetiees!

It takes more time than I first expected.
I (we) will also build a new house with a garage within a few month, it takes a lot of time in planning and discussions. We will tear down the old house and this is my first prio right now, motor comes second.
It also took 2 weeks just to get the new camshaft fråm US, had to wait for it.
Block is decked to 9.012 and honed to 4.060.
Just now I'm checking all kind of clearences/collisions.
But I havn't balanced the crank yet, must check so the valves doesn't hit the pistons. If nothing unusual happens I will leave the crank for balancing next week.
I have a thread on the Swedish corvette forum which describes my progress. And also everything I learn here is forward into that thread.
Maby I can inspire other corvette owners to do a rebuild here!
