I noticed a little bit of a milky appearance in my master cylinder while I was gearing up for a cruise. Is this air or water that causes this? I can't detect a leak. Any help would be appreciated. Ryan

More than likely air and it's been contaminated before. A full flush, and a thorough bleed will improve things dramatically.
If you know how...checking each wheel for rotor runout would be a good way to know if you're prone to sucking air in as you drive.
Thats water contamination. It starts off as condensation, then gets worked into emulsion because DOT3 is glycol based. I did a lot of research on this back about '80 when I impacted the back of a pontiac because of severe brake fade, was an adventure.
Flush the system with alcohol and then compressed air, think seriously about a o-ring conversion kit from VBP and use DOT5
