Steering wheel
I have a standard non tilt column in my vette with the lousy Vega style steering wheel. I also have a 77-82 three spoke steering wheel. What other hardware is needed to put this wheel on in place of that fugly Vega wheel or do I need a tilt column? Vette is a 79.

Your 79' has the 76' Vega steering wheel? If so, you need to buy the 78 hub. A non tilt column really sucks. Had one in my 71' and couldn't get comfortable in it. Bought a couple junk 76' T/T and made a good one. Had to hunt for the hub, but I think someone is repoing them now. Check Jim Sheas papers, he listed where you could buy the parts.

Yup the fugly vega wheel. I can tolerate the non tilt column. I just dont to pay the price for a used tilt column and go through the trouble to rebuild it. I may have to bite the bullet on this one and get a T&T column.
