anyway to convert 1/4 mile to 1/8 mile? thats what the local strip is...
Normally, your 1/8th time will be between 64-66% of your total time and your MPH will be about 18-21 MPH less. So for my great prediction: 1/8th 9.88 @ 75.4
Looking good, practice will lower those times. I just took mine out for the second time (4 runs total) and ran 14.52 @ a03. Getting hp, need to work more on launch to lower times more. :D  :flag Love those Buffs, ex maintenance officer on them.
I have a G-Tech Pro. It is a pretty neat tool. As you said, It will be usefull for checking for improvement after modifications.
Lots of people like to POO POO them off as JUNK. I too was skeptical when I first heard about them. The claims just sounded like plain old B.S. to me. After reading way too many positive things about them from credible and non-credible sources I finally bought one.
Seems that the biggest misunderstanding with the G-Tech is the MPH value that it shows following a 1/4 mile run is usually ~7 to ~9 MPH faster than what an actual 1/4 mile time slip would show. According to what I have read, this is due to the trap speed being based on an average of the last 60' at the dragstrip. The G-Tech just shows the MPH given at the moment it crosses the 1/4 mile mark vs. an average of the last 60'.
All in all, the majority of the reports show that the G-Tech will almost always be withing ~1/10 of a second of the official time slip at a track. That's close enough for me.
Got mine, used it for the first time in the vette Wednesday. Ran a 0-60 @ 5.8. Last year I used my friends, with a 0-60 of 5.5 and 1/4 mile of 13.8.
I don't expect it to be right on the money, but it gives you a good idea.
I think your times and rwhp are in line with your mods. My 200 net hp -72 ran 7.5 sec 0 - 62 (european model of g-tech...) and showed 155 rwhp. My friends 300 gross hp -70 run also 7.5 but was heavier during testing (ragtop with two people onboard). His rwhp was 170. We are both planning for mods / engine transplants to make our cars faster :D :D
