Here is that paper for anyone else thinking of this swap. The CS130 is the smaller duty version of the CS alternators. The install in the paper applies to the CS144, which does not have the over heating issues, and has almost 100 amps at idle. It's more expensive, but is a heavier duty alt.

I see in the third pic you have the red wire from the three prong connector attached to the battery terminal, and it appears that the small brown wire goes to the lamp, but the third wire appears to be cut off. Am I correct?
On mine the third wire marked (f) on the plug went to the ignition post on the fuse block.
Yes my black wire is cut off. I followed durangos papaer. My Brown wire is attached to the bat post on my hei super coil because its a switched 12 volt source. I do not have factory wiring I have an EZ Wiring harness so i do not have a light. The alt has been doing great this way. If it does go out you can order a cs plug from GM that has resistance built in it to replace the light if you do not have it. But the original alt and the summit alt never had the light.
