Re: I need help getting my Vettes running! (68350hp)
Good luck !!
At the least, all fluids should be changed out. Gas, oil, Antifreeze, brake, transmission, and rear end lube.
You must prelube the engines before firing. And make sure that the carbs are not full of 5 year old gas, now known as gunk.
After the engines have been prelubed and if they start, expect most of the gaskets such as the valve cover, timing cover, front and rear crank seals and others to start leaking.
I would contact a company that deals with car restoration and talk with them directly about getting these classics up and running again.

Re: I need help getting my Vettes running! (68350hp)
That is quite an impressive list of autos. Congrats. Now get to using those things.
If it were me I would change all the fluids first. Along with belts and hoses if you plan on driving them. I would probably put some type of lube directly in the cylinder thruough the spark plug hole and try to manually turn the engine over to distribute the lube.
I may be skipping some important steps, so hopefully someone will update my list.
Good luck and post some pics and let us know how this turns out.

How about you just pick one, give it to me, and let me take care of it.
Re: I need help getting my Vettes running! (68350hp)
Here's an idea. Pick one. The best one you like. Sell the others and use that money to fix up the one you kept.
H3LL, I would like to have 4 vettes ( or was it 6 vettes, I thought I saw that in another post), but that is just too much to take care of. H3LL, that's a full time job all its own.
Anyway, share the excitement of Vette ownership with others, sell three of them.

Hea, I just noticed the your from Canton, Ohio. You should look up Paul Borowski. He's in Massillon (don't know how close that is to you). He has 4 vettes, too. He's great at working on them and I'm sure he will have so advice for you. I talked to him by e-mail Friday and he was going to Philidelphia this weekend for a NCRS judging event, but would be back on Monday or Tuesday. Let me know if you need his e-mail address.

What do you think, 67HEAVEN. Either Daddy's spoiled little rich kid or make believe. Had me fooled at first. I think he should have to prove they exist now!

I will as soon as I get an invite from him to "look" and see what he's got!!! I don't think they make a 1/18th '74 unless it may be an old MPC 1974 Corvette model!!!
