Default 1977 A/C Help Please!

Finally got my A/C working good under the hood. Have cold air coming out inside about as hard as a 2 year old can blow! Have vaccuum, have done the mod on the fan motor to the new blower with the spacer. Sounds like a J6 Westinghouse, but no air inside. Usaually when there is a control problem, it just blows out the Defroster or air out of the heater, but very little there either! Where the heck is the air going? It has about whipped me. Started taking the dash out, and thought I might ask for some help before I go down the take the dash out road..Any help will be appreciated, I am about ready to throw the whole car across the shop.. I didn't mention that I have all new evaporator, and cleaned all the junk out of the A/C box while I had it off..

Not being negative here, but is the squirrel cage on the blower moter correctly? If it's on wrong, it'll run like crazy, and blow nothing.

Check all your ac ducts. When I did my interior and heater core there were no vacum lines connected to the vacum shutoff valve. All the ducts werent even lined up right. Start there. Hope that helps.

Listen for a vacuum leak at the selector switch.

Listen for a vacuum leak at the selector switch. And check to see if your radio "if stock" is not sitting on a vac hose.

Actually TimAT was sort of correct, as it was the squirl cage. It was cast backward from the stock one. It was in right, but was set to rotate opposite from the Corvette. I bought a new stock fan an put it back with a new motor and it blows good. Also, learned about the recirc damper and the one under the fender, if they don't work right, no recirc. Got good cool air now, thanks for all the help!!
