Power Antenna problem

The power antenna on my vette started malfunctioning yesterday. It will raise part of the way up but will not go down. The motor will run continuously unless I assist in raising or lowering it. Anybody have this happen to them. What's the fix? Thanks.

It is probably the cable inside of the mast. You can get a repair kit from the supply catalogs(Mid America, Ecklers, etc). I think it is like $15, not hard to do put you have to pull the antenna motor out of the car.

Thanks 82 dukman,

I was just saying the other day that I didn't spend much time in the C3 section because my car didn't need many repairs when I bought it. Should have knocked on wood. It could have been worse.
