Spring cushion cups
What's the trick to peening over the small end? I have a T/A with one missing, and the other T/A's cup has a dent. A forum member generously sent me a pair of new repops, I just need to get them installed correctly.

Yep. Replacing the cups in the arms...the small side is peened over to "rivet" the cup in place, but I'm not sure how to do it right.

You don't have to. Spring tension will keep the bolt, bushings and cups in place. I did mine a couple of years ago.........

they are probably peened over from the spring tension and the bolt riding against the ID. They are just a tight fit and pop out easily (at least on all the trailing arms I've seen) if they are not rusted in place.
