i mailed it to you today you should get it by the end of the week
This shows up about once a month here. It is the bleeding sequence. Most every mechanic will tell you it is ALWAYS farthest to closest. This is not true on C3 Corvettes. I had this argument with a guy who built stock cars. After about 2 hrs. of trying to bleed, I called home and reconfirmed the sequence per the GM shop manual and BINGO...first try. I have now been through this more than once on more than one Corvette. Bleed it by the standard sequence you will bleed for the next year. Do it per the GM Shop Manual and you will get a hrd pedal first try. I am doing this per memory and I believe it is LR, RR, LF, RF. Check the manual to be sure.
Someone provided a technical solution here about a year ago, and it had to do with the fact that if done wrong, the air bubbles will simply push back and forth through the proportioning valve from one line to another and you will not get them all unless you are damn lucky. There is relativity of lenght of line to proportioning valve as well.
The bottom line is do it per the GM manual and unless you have some other issue you WILL get a hard pedal.
