for future referance...I was told seat covers are a PITA to dye compared to other interior peices...but if you do it right...in a sunny day...and do about 15-20 coats so thin that you don't really notice a difference, then you should be ok with it.

The big problem is the peices being sticky afterwards, or bleeding on to your clothes...just some thoughts.

I would never do seat covers -- don't want the problems or the ruined clothes.

I would do carpet and trim pieces, but only for a darker color than they already are.

Had a friend who did who interior, gold to black, follow instructions, let dry completely before use and it will work with NO problems, no rubbing off, etc, if you FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY.

I dyed my Turbo Sprint seats from grey to black. Yes, it was a pain in the as$. I used a tooth brush to work the dye into the fabric. It turned out pretty good after one coat. The flash on the camera exagerated things a bit.

Beleive it or not, these used to be grey!

You guys will have to give lessons. I dyed my steering wheel from tan to red and the darn thing was still bleeding on me 30 days later.
