Default engine problem need advice HELP !

A fiend has a problem with his engine !

-Engine:
350ci L48 from a corvette
8.5 CR (stock piston and rods)

-Cylinder head:
stock cylinder head
valve new
polished intake and exhaust port

-Camshaft:
LUNATI Voodoo Part #: 60102LK
Duration @ .050 IN/EX: 219/227
Valve Lift IN/EX: .468"/.489"
LSA / ICL: 112/108
lifters LUNATI
pushrod LUNATI (same length than stock)
rocker ratio 1.5 SUMMIT Part #: SUM-141506

-Carb:
Qjet from an runnig engine
fuel pump new

Troubles
--> only 3 or 4 cylindre seem to run (exhaust hot temp)
--> engine move a lot (normal if cylinder are missing)
--> ingnition seems to be ok (spark appear)
--> with rocker in place we don't feel pressure when we place our finger on sparkplug hole and we rev engine with starter
--> but with rocker remove we have pressure!

Your valve lash may or appears to be too tight on some of the valves and holding them open. re-adjust the valves.

but we make 2 time the adustement!
zero lash + 1/2 turn of pre-load
so 2 time a bad adjustement !?

Double check the timing gear alignment. sounds almost like you might be off a tooth or two.....

What leads me to believe some valves are too tight is that you said you get compression with the rockers off on cylinders that you couldn`t with your adjustment by spinning it with the starter. If you hook up your ignition you may get a backfire in the carb if a intake is too tight.

sounds to me like either distributer timing off or possibly someone
set the timing chain on wrong. also did you disconnect the distributor vacuum hose before you tried to set the timing?
