Reinstall alternator brushes
I've always been challenged reinstalling spring loaded brushes in any electrical device. What is the trick to getting the alternator brushes back in and held in place while pushing the shaft back into place? Thanks.

There is a small pin hole on the back of the altenator that you can stick a bent up paper clip or a piece of metal hanger through that will hold the brushes back in the slot till you have the aramature in place. Once you have it in place pull the clip out and the brushes will spring out onto the aramature shaft.
